Road & Auto Docs is a small reference kept by a couple of drivers who lost one too many afternoons to car paperwork.
The guides are deliberately general. Rules for registration, insurance and driving abroad differ between countries and change over time, so each guide lists the questions to ask and the documents to collect rather than quoting one country's regulations.
Every guide shows when it was first published and when it was last reviewed. If something reads as outdated, treat the official source as the final word.
